Terms of Use

Welcome to DRAWMYFACE ("the Service") — an anonymous, shared wall where anyone can draw on a blank face. By accessing the Service or posting a drawing, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

DRAWMYFACE requires no account. Everything you post is public, anonymous, and visible to anyone with a link to the wall it was posted on. The Service is offered worldwide.

Walls do not expire and there is no renewal fee. We keep walls for as long as they are used. To keep the Service healthy we may remove a wall that nobody has opened for 12 months (36 months for a wall with a paid size), together with its drawings. You can save any face as an image or video at any time.

2. Age

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to post. If you are a minor, you confirm that a parent or guardian allows you to use the Service.

3. Your content and license

• You keep ownership of the drawings you create.
• By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your drawing within the Service and in previews of it (for example link thumbnails), for as long as it remains posted.
• You confirm your drawing is your own work and does not infringe anyone's rights.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

Do not post, and do not use the Service to create or spread, content that is or contains:

• Sexual or obscene material, including nudity or sexually suggestive imagery.
• Any sexual or exploitative depiction of minors. Zero tolerance — such content is removed and may be reported to the competent authorities together with the technical data described in Section 8.
• Violence, gore, or threats, including glorification of violence, war, terrorism, or cruelty.
• Hate or discrimination against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
• Targeted harassment or bullying — using the Service to run a sustained campaign of abuse against a specific person.
• Doxxing — publishing a person's contact details, address, or other private identifying data.
• Promotion of drugs or controlled substances, or of alcohol/tobacco directed at minors.
• Promotion of weapons, gambling, or other regulated goods or services.
• Encouragement of self-harm or suicide.
• Advertising, spam, or flooding — commercial solicitation, repeated or automated posting, deliberately low-effort mass submissions, or content unrelated to the purpose of the wall.
• Infringement of intellectual property — copyrighted characters or artwork, trademarks, or other protected material you have no right to use.
• Impersonation of any person, brand, or organization.
• Fraud, phishing, malware, or deceptive schemes of any kind.
• Anything that is illegal in your jurisdiction or in the operator's jurisdiction, or that creates legal risk for other users or for the Service.

To be clear about people as subjects: drawing real people is allowed. Politicians, celebrities, public figures, people in the news, and people you know are all fair subjects — portraits, caricatures, and satire included. The rules above are about abuse and illegal content, not about who may be drawn.

Do not interfere with the Service itself: no scraping at abusive volume, no attempts to bypass rate limits, moderation, or technical protections, and no automated posting.

5. Moderation and removal

• We may remove, hide, or restrict any content at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without notice, including content flagged by user reports or that we judge low-quality, disruptive, or in breach of these Terms.
• Repeated or serious violations may result in being blocked from the Service.

6. Anonymous ownership, editing, and deletion

• Your drawings are linked to a random identifier stored in your browser— not to your name or any account. Editing or deleting your own drawing is only possible from the same browser on the same device where it was created.
• If you clear your browser data, switch devices, or use private browsing, that identifier is lost and you will no longer be able to edit or delete your drawings yourself. This is a designed property of an account-free service, not a defect.
• To request removal of a drawing (or a whole wall) in any other situation, email hypernudge@gmail.com with the link. We honor reasonable, verifiable requests.

7. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for what you post. Posting content that violates these Terms or applicable law may expose you to civil liability or criminal prosecution. We may cooperate with law enforcement as described below, and we reserve the right to pursue or refer violations that harm the Service or its users.

8. Technical data and law-enforcement cooperation

To keep an anonymous service safe, we record minimal technical metadata with each posted drawing — IP address, approximate country, browser information, and a timestamp — as described in our Privacy notice. This data is never shown publicly. We may preserve and disclose it to competent authorities when required by a lawful request (for example, in investigations of illegal content).

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available, or that any content will be preserved. Content on the walls is user-generated and does not represent our views.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or from any user content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the wall concerned in the twelve months before the claim (zero for the free tier).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you post or from your breach of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

14. Paid wall sizes

• Every wall is free up to 12 faces. You can raise a wall's maximum number of faces by buying a larger size (for example, up to 60 faces). Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay; taxes are added or included as required where you live.
• Buying a size upgrades the wall, not you. There is still no account. The upgrade attaches to the wall link, and anyone who has the link can keep drawing on it, exactly as before. Buying a size does not give you ownership of the wall, the right to lock it, or control over other people's drawings on it.
• Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd / Paddle.com Inc.), which acts as the merchant of record: your purchase contract is with Paddle, Paddle collects your email address and billing details, charges you, and issues the tax receipt. Paddle's own terms apply to the transaction. After payment we email the wall link and a summary to the address you gave Paddle, and we keep a one-way hash of that address so the link can be sent to you again on request (see our Privacy notice).
• The upgrade is applied immediately when payment completes, and you agree to that immediate delivery. Refunds: you may request a full refund within 14 days of payment as long as the wall has never held more than the previous size's maximum (for the free tier, 12 faces) since the purchase. Once the wall has held more faces than that — even if drawings are deleted later — the upgrade has been used and is not refundable. A duplicate purchase for a wall that already had that size is refunded in full. Refund requests go to hypernudge@gmail.com with the wall link or the receipt number; Paddle may also process refunds under its own policy.
• A refund does not remove drawings from the wall. If you are under 18, buy a size only with a parent or guardian's permission; we may refund and reverse purchases made without it.
